No, he shouldn't get a "break the bank contract" but, there is shortage of true blue chip safeties on the market, and the current going rate for "just-a-guy" safeteys is well above vet minimums.

Bottom line, if you think Johnson is going to be signed for a vet min contract, (with all due respect) you're delusional.
