if you think he has proven he deserves a middle level contract you are delusional. The guy has one play on his highlight video- the guy is a sleeper, who appears to be getting minimal interested- there is no reason to pay him $3 or $4 million a year.

Rahim Moore got $ 4 million a year- Patrick Chung got $2.7 million

Note: If the Redskins really don’t like what they have in Johnson, it won’t be hard to get out of the deal. They could cut him in camp and only be out the $350,000 bonus. Also, he will receive $15,625 every game he’s on the 46-man roster up to $250,000. He also has $900,000 in not-likely-to-be-earned incentives.

2016

Base salary: $850,000, not guaranteed.

Cap hit: $1.275 million.

Note: If he’s released next offseason the Redskins would save $1.1 million on the salary cap with $175,000 in dead money. As in 2015, he will receive $15,625 for every game he’s on the 46-man roster, with a maximum value of $250,000. And he still has up to $900,000 in not-likely-to-be-earned incentives.
