Flying under the radar is the addition of Matt Cavanaugh as QB coach and (to a lesser extent but still important to the overall offense) Bill Callahan. I don't think people realize how great of a competitive disadvantage the team faced because of the holes in the coaching staff.
I think
all the QBs are gonna benefit from the changes to the staff and Griff especially because he had the most to learn about playing in timing rhythm passing game.
I hang my hat on those coaches changes in addition to Scott building a better team as reason the QB play, passing game, offense and team will be better this year.
