On the other hand, here you have Gronk who's smart with his money. You'd think he'd be a dumb jock, but he's smart enough to not blow his money like an idiot.

Not surprised to hear about Portis. Several years ago when he was still playing, he use to gamble with a client of mine. They'd go to Atlantic City and so forth. Anyhow, one time Portis pissed through a bunch of money at the tables. My client gave him 30k and Portis in turn wrote him a 30k check, which he showed me when we had to meet. But he use to tell me CP loved gambling.
