I think when you play the Broncos and Chiefs, you have to have Lavar in more packages. He would attract double teams when rushing the passer, and free up others (griffin, salave'a, boschetti, etc.) to get sacks. Not getting any pressure on Plummer or Green would be scary.

I'm not sold on the defense this year, as yet - they're good, but not as good as last year.
