It's stupid to dismiss a neurologists expertise based on one persons rant on twitter. People get very upset when they get sick and post crazy things -- and the very best doctors can't magically fix everything. His
profile says he's a neurologist trained at Georgetown & Duke, was a Chief Resident, President of the Virginia Neurologic Society, and is a co-chairman for an advisory committee for Medicare. That's a *stellar* resume and I'm disappointed and embarrassed to see the NFL / ESPN smear this guy's reputation.
I wouldn't blame him for getting out of a contract w NFL. Too much publicity. I'd bet Griffin is just one patient he sees in a busy practice and has led to front-page news stories on ESPN. Too much hassle for not much benefit for him.
