One of the cool things that I thought about Nick's kick, after I stopped screaming that we WON!, was that Nick nailed the first attempt which did not count due to the Delay of Game, so he was able to kick it again with that same "feel" in him that he had just gotten from making it the first time. That was actually a good thing. Sort of like a mulligan in golf. So the distance did not really matter, he was kicking it through the middle and would have made it from 50 yards out.
