But when they are in this formation it's a dead giveaway to the defense that they are going to run. They won't even call a play action pass and hit the running back in the flat...or find a T on an out pattern....instead they run right at the defense for a minimal gain.

agreed, although we did see several naked bootlegs off that as the game went on, and they were successful, minus the bogus crackback block penalty.
