How has LaVar adapted to anything?
He's played the same style under every coach, he basically does his own thing. LaVar is notorious for freelancing and not conforming to the defensive scheme. Look at how much he fought Marvin Lewis, he was like a wild dog that Lewis was trying to put a leash on. Eventually he broke him in but not without a pretty big struggle.
As others have said, Pro Bowls don't really mean a whole lot. It's a big popularity contest.
