we have what? 11-12m in free space now and the rookies will take 5-6m of that. kory is 3-3.5, riley is 4, roberts is 3-4, culliver is 5.5 if you cut them.

i mean, it's possible to get him, but we have cousins, reed, jackson, galette, and possibly baker coming up on money years, so it's hard to see us being able to add 15m per and keep more than a couple of those guys. it's not like his agent doesn't know that either, whereas SF has over 50m free this year and next among other teams. trying to sell him on emotion is cool and all, but getting paid is generally what's key, and we're at a real disadvantage there.
