Performing very limited military actions doesn't constitute a war. If so, I suppose we were at war with Lybia or other countries we do airstrikes. (Africa being one)

When we put boots on the ground and go all in like we did with Iraq, then you can call it a war. As noted before, the word "war" is thrown around too loosely.

No, today wars will come via economy, not nukes(see Russian, North Korea and Iran sanctions) or even armed conflict. Nobody is going to ever fire off another nuke. The US was the first and will be the last. Much our political maneuvering is to make the other nations suffer via economics. That's why China is such a huge threat to us, not the fact they have a largest standing army in the world. (with no way to get them over here) Now with rock dwellers like the middle east, we'll just continue to bomb them since they hold all the cards basically in the oil/gas fields. Can't really cut them off economically since we need their goods. When those fields dry up, that's when we'll stop giving a shit about the middle east. (much like Africa)

It's interesting your brought up the crazed lunatics. Who the hell do you think armed those very lunatics? Yes, the same people that armed Bin Laden and his Al Queda group. (Hint: It's us) These people are propped up as the big bad boogie man to pump fear into populace so they'll agree to continue the same failed foreign policies that have gotten us in this mess to begin with. You have a insanely higher chance of getting murdered by your own countryman or a drunk driver than you do of some crazed lunatic terrorist. Yet that's what we should focus on? Russia also thought they could continue to fight these guerilla fighters and we see where that landed them. Economy collapsed and they could no longer afford the war. What direction do you think this country is going in? History often repeats itself and it seems not many people learn from mistakes.

One other thing, why are we going after ISIS when we should be going after the main supporters of them. Saudia Arabia. They are by far the biggest terrorist supporters in the world, and have been directly linked to 9/11. Why are they still allies? Oil. That's why.

Management material I tell you.

I may be dumb, but I'm still twice as smart as you.
