James Harrison of Pittsburgh Steelers apathetic over probe if 'crook' Roger Goodell involved
I'm really sick and tired of James Harrison and all the players that get worked up over how discipline is handled in the NFL.
I realize that how discipline is handled should be revised, but it becomes such a huge bargaining chip between the players and owners, that I feel the NFLPA should focus on other matters, especially those pertaining to player compensation and protecting players when they get released/traded, etc., etc.
Instead of complaining about player discipline, shouldn't they be worried more about the power of the franchise tag (which affects the market value for players) or put more restrictions on when players can be released. The latter to me is a big one, which no one talks about. Often players are released so late into free agency and the offseason, that they don't get a fair chance to find a job elsewhere.
