I went to a steelers skins game about 18 years ago. Im with my buddies who are all steeler fans. I am wearing a skins winter knitted cap. I got so much trash talk during the tailgate. Dudes up in my face asking me how is it going to feel to have the skins lose to a gay quarterback (kordell stewart was their QB at the time). Multiple close throw downs.
The tipping point of when i took my hat off was during halftime. my buddies were getting food and drinks and i am smoking a cigarette off to the side. This old old withered man came slowly walking by. I cannot stress to you how old and crinkly and cracked this guys skins was. He slowly walks by me, stops, turns around and walks back in front of me, spits at my feet and then starts slowly walking away. I couldnt stop laughing.
Steelers fans are dedicated.
