If you look at the top 10 teams in sacks (
link ) - about half the teams are terrible (Tenn, San Fran, St Louis and Arizona) and only three are dominate (Pitt, San Diego and Indy) the rest are mediocre. My point is - sacks are in now way indicitive of good defense
