Part of the reason why that rookie had a field day against us was because we were going with a silent count on shotgun. That stadium is so loud. So, because of that the tackles are forced to look at the ball instead of listening to the snap count. So right there the DE has the advantage to get around the tackle faster. Another one that got away from Samuels was one where Portis chipped, but chipped him to the inside, and by that time Samuels couldn't get to him.
IMO, I think Samuels so far is having a solid season. Him and Jansen both.
