No team in the NFL is worse on third down than the Redskins, who are allowing conversions 48 percent of the time. They're on pace to have the second-worst third-down defense in the past 15 seasons behind only the 2011 San Diego Chargers.

So the worst team in past 15 seasons on third downs? 2011 San Diego Chargers, when Barry was the LB coach. Joe Barry's teams in the past 10 years have some of the WORST third down defenses in history -- and although he didn't always make the D calls, you've got to believe he clearly wasn't the solution. He's used to mediocrity and his experience and everything he's learned in the NFL has been about BAD DEFENSE. Not sure why his career makes us trust him.
