With all of our wr weapons and KC and the best LT in football how much credit does McVay deserve for moving the ball through the air between the 20's with ease? Our RZ issues, clock management, and disappearing act in crucial spots really speaks volumes about the coaching on that side of the ball.
Our D that really at the end of the day has two players plus Mason who is certainly not Ray Lewis.
Cravens was hurt and being moved around. Never really settled in. So we are talking about a couple of guys who would definitely start anywhere they went. Yet they kept points off the board, and played above their heads a lot.
Anyway I would not mind both of them being replaced though a loss of continuity would be damaging.

I agree.
Overall this season I was okay with the effort by the guys on defense.
At times the lack of effort by the offense wasn't acceptable. That was evident in the run game.
I'm not sure what part of it falls on the coordinators. Sometimes you also need a guy in the locker room that brings the better out of his teammates. Not sure we have that in the offense. As weak as he looked sometimes, Compton might be that guy for the defense.
