On the contrary, giving Gruden another chance to start over on the defense tells me Bruce and/or Scot really likes him. If this next season
totally goes to shit Gruden could be fired I suppose, but if it's just the defense that's bad and his offense is still playing well I would bet anything he and his D coordinator will be back for another year. Going further, this makes me more optimistic we get a long term deal done with Cousins. Bruce/Scot will want to give their coach his guy at QB
