I'm amazed by how accurate they are. Cooley has some pretty deep sources, and insights!
They were saying it's not only a DC problem (in fact Cooley says we can do better at DC but Barry's scheme isn't the main problem) but also a defensive staff issue, because, among others things, DB coach let the DB room go completely dismantled, not coaching the guys into playing this defense as designed and as called.
And a few hours after the show, pretty much exactly what they said needed to happen happened. Just wow! They either are pretty close to the decision makers, or effin football wizards! |
Keim said the other day he had heard a lot of complaints about Fewell (DB coach) from the organization and that he wasn't surprised Fewell was let go. I don't know the ins and out, but I think its interesting. We seemed to see a lot of secondary players not play as well as last year.
