I think most of us can appreciate both sides of the argument, but it's hard to be in this discussion without arguing for one side or the other. I say sign him because that's what's best, but it's still not a slam dunk decision- there are some drawbacks to this and there will be pressure for McCloughan to hit in the draft and for existing players to develop.

Everyone knows that the draft is a crapshoot. And if McCloughan is not fortunate enough he could be on the hot seat. And I believe he is the one person that has helped this team turn it around the most.
