The San Fran thing will soon be a done deal. I have been wrong about lots of things that I have said, but I remember well the day that I posted in this thread that Cousins was likely going to be somewhere else this coming season. I might be proven right, and I might be wrong again. But to me, I just saw too many signs and heard too many things indicating that this team wants desperately to move on from Cousins.

In the end, we will never know who was behind the decision to send him off. I suspect it was Snyder, but until Cousins gives his first interview as a 49er or member of whatever team, we may never know.

Cousins is a classy guy and most likely wouldn't say anything bad about his time here, but if he is really frustrated, he may just come out and say something like "I wanted to be here and tried to make it work, but Dan Snyder constantly was telling me how much he wanted me gone", or something like that..
