Yeah, I'm no longer optimistic about this at all. My guess is he's tagged, plays out the year for the 24 mil, departs in 2018, and the Skins get zero compensation. I don't think any team is going to offer much for him this year in the form of a trade, when they can just posture themselves for making a run at him next year. There's no way he's tagged for a third time.

This is probably exactly what he is hoping for too.

The only other way he stays long term is if they offer him stupid money, beyond what the actual market is for his services.
