Those of us who believe in Kirk's ability are
not wrong about him. He led the entire NFL in QBR over the period of the last 12 regular season games (games 5 through 16) of 2017. He is a winner and he is still developing his skills (meaning he will continue to get better). He has avoided injuries, so you can expect him to be available from week to week (which is a very big deal in the NFL) and he may have as many as 10 years left in his NFL career. So, yes, he
is "all that".
Cooley may think he's not worth two number one picks, but the league says he
is worth it if he receives the non-exclusive tag and another team signs him.
If Kirk should go to SF, he and Kyle Shanahan will light up the league like you won't believe. That is, as soon as SF get him some weapons to work with. Believe me, we're going to suffer without him if he goes because no journeyman QB is going to be able to duplicate what he does for this team.
Just to make my position on this matter as clear as possible, if this front office doesn't re-sign Cousins they can all eat shit, die, and go to Hell. And they should take "company man" Cooley with them.
