Basically, he'll go back to Allen when the weekend is over and say listen I've been able to get McCartney down to $__ per year, what do you want to do.

Then if it starts getting close, maybe Allen gets involved.

He won't waste his time with the early stages of negotiating. Shaffer will do that.

I hate that back and forth to the manager stuff. Maybe some day the NFL and the NFLPA will go to "No Hassle Pricing".
