After watching him so closely over the past seasons while he has been our starter, I have came to a few conclusions that may or not be agreed on with other posters here.

I do not think Kirk is in "elite" status like Brady or Brees, etc., but I think that he is VERY GOOD, and easily a top 10 NFL QB. My impression of him is that he is a very, very high level game manager. I think he needs to have an above average team around him for him to win a super bowl. That being said, Kirk wins a lot of games in the NFL.

I am kind of shocked at seeing so many posts on other boards (Not really here) where they can't wait for someone else to come in at QB. And I'm like, really? We might be walking away from a guy who routinely puts up 30 TD's and is among the best in passing yards, etc.. Kirk is easily the best QB that we've had here IMO since Brad Johnson, and while we are the team that is known for making stupid moves, letting Cousins go has to be the all time stupidest.
