With the media throwing out all of these scenarios and really making it sound as if Cousins doesn't want to be here, it forces the fans to resent Kirk Cousins a bit and be OK with getting rid of him, even though he's a fantastic quarterback and fantastic person. I think the fanbase is, at best, divided on Kirk Cousins. You'll have some, just like with RGIII, who will stick with Cousins no matter what. You'll have some who will have always taken the route of "Not My Quarterback" (Probably left over RGIII fans), and then some of us who are so sick and tired of the offseason situation with Kirk Cousins that we're ready to just say eff it, let Cousins walk if that's what he wants.

I think this is exactly what the team wants from us.

I would love to have Kirk back, I have said that the whole time but this just seems like 2 parties that want a divorce but won't admit it. Kirk has had a chance to sign a LTD and it wasn't a low ball offer according to reports last summer.. north of 20M is a good deal IMO. The team doesn't want KC and KC knows that so he's playing the nice guy and "well we'll see what happens" or "I want to be wanted" Typical response every off season from Kirk.
