Concerning Hankins, it seems to me that we have criticized the FO for years because they had no plan. That criticism was fair because they actually didn't have a plan. Now, I think we may be unintentionally criticizing this FO for having a plan and sticking to it because they didn't pay Hankins whatever he wanted to come here. That isn't fair criticism, IMHO.

We don't know what happened in the negotiations with Hankins. The Skins may have made him a more than fair offer within the parameters of their overall plan. Right now, Hankins may want to look around to see if he can get a better offer. There's no telling if he'll find a better offer or if the Skins might sweeten the pot a little to get the deal done. Either way, I support the FO for having a plan and working it.
