If we get a new defensive coordinator I'll still view that as a step in the right direction, even if Allen remains in place.

What are the chances Dan knows he needs to make a change and get rid of Allen (and possibly Gruden), but doesn’t know WHAT that change will be yet? What if he left for the Bahamas specifically to get away from Allen so he can evaluate his options (and make phone calls) to potential replacements without the Prince of Darkness looking over his shoulder? The Bahamas would be a nice place (removed from reporters) to secretly meet with a potential franchise savior.
I know this is all unlikely, but i have to believe there will be some significant change. Regardless of what Snyder thinks, he must by now realize how horribly he’s underestimated how bad the situation is. He must know he has to do some kind of major shakeup if he wants to get the fans interested again.
