The early 80's to mid 90's 49ers were a distant second in dynasty ranking, but they had the advantage of a free spending owner before the salary cap era where the "haves" spent 2 times or more on players than the "have nots." Obviously the front office, head coach, and quarterback trio in New England is hands down the best ever.
