Never said it wouldn't have worked. Stop making things up just to argue. Again, your question comes into play, did you actually watch the game? How many yards did Clinton Portis run on this defense all day? You still haven't told me how many years you've coached in the NFL nor how many Super Bowl appearances and trophies you have won.
It might have worked and it might not have worked. It is a bigger risk to role your qb out on that third down play AND to throw the ball. It's idiotic in my opinion. Our strength that day was running the ball.
That is why your argument is a weak one at best. You can't come up with anything that has to do with the present season to fully support your argument. It's last year this, last year that. The only people who care about last year are the ones who live by the old saying, "misery loves company." They haven't got the strength to put down last season and move forward.

As I said, what games are you watching, I gave you 5 examples, 4 of which are from this season and your harping about the 1 example from last year? when all you had to do was give some examples when we have run the ball down someones throat to seal a game, and you didn't bother to back up one of your points all you did was attack, why? Portis had 40 yards or there abouts in the second half, perhaps the Bucs made a half time adjustment???????
