Agreed. We have to stop assuming that good players drafted by the redskins actually want to be here.
If I were Scherff, or any other player on his rookie contract worth anything, I would do my job, serve my time, and work towards free agency. If the skins want to compete with the open market and pay me more than anyone else - sure, I'd consider staying. But money being even, I'd go just about anywhere else. And if the money is actually better elsewhere, why on earth would I want to stay here?
