Eye test. We can tell he has no idea what he's doing. Like no idea, none, at all.
It's not the size of the sample, it's how he's been not just late to deliver the ball, but like he doesn't even know the receiver is supposed to break off his route, and he's waiting for guys to show as open before he throws it. It's how he locks onto receiving targets with his eyes, and it's how he holds the ball way too long.
It's an indicator of exactly how slowly he's picking up the playbook. All QBs come in green with it and have to learn. Some learn faster than others. But you have to be alarmed at how
slowly he's learning it.
Four INTs in 22 passes is alarmingly bad. If he keeps learning at this rate he won't be ready to start until his rookie contract is up.
