-- I might concede point #1, but remember, Chris Simms wasn't performing all that great either until he played the Redskins.
-- Bruce and Holt have been nicked up, but from what I've heard their status is improving. Judging by the way our defense has played at least in terms of pass rush and pass defense, I'd be concerned with those two receivers no matter what their physical condition is.

I responded to the notion that our chances will be better since Jamie Martin is playing and not Marc Bulger. Even so, the Raiders defense left much to be desired and stymied the Redskins throughout the game.

"Because the Rams, as a team and organization, are an absolute mess." -- OK, but that doesn't always translate on the field. Even teams that are considered an absolute mess can get it together on any given Sunday against an unsuspecting opponent. And I would dispute that the Rams are in shambles anyway.
