Just watched the E60 with my kids this week...I had no idea his leg was in THAT condition during the surgeries. It's a miracle they were able to save it. There was no skin from knee to ankle remaining.

Amazing story. Yes it's gross to look at, but these are the types of lessons and role models kids should be exposed to, the perseverance he has is amazing. They've watched me fight through surgeries and not walking many times, but man...my problems look like a picnic compared to Alex's leg.
