My point was, I see all these signs hiring (pre covid) and wonder why people cant find jobs. Then I see her experience of struggling to find even part time offers. If people think there are full time jobs just waiting for the unemployed ... that is not the case.
Its part time if you are lucky.
She is making tremendous progress and she will catch her break. She just cant give up.
To be fair, she always worked before she stopped working 8 years ago but all as a bartender and im sure she could have got a bartender/server job 2 years ago but that would have not worked for her sobriety.
