Im glad you said something re Wentz missing guys. I didnt want to be a negative Nancy on victory Monday but Wentz dropped back 42 times and we only had 3 pass deflections. PD is a weird stat that i dont put much weight to but many times on Sunday Wentz was missing guys where our coverage wasnt great. 3PDs on 42 throws kind of supports that.

2 ints, Moreau and Moreland were both watching the QB, which allowed them to break on the ball and make great plays but the saying is "if youre watching the QB, youre watching the receiver make a catch on you". Both throws it appeared Wentz was late as well.

Eagles play calling also was suspect. A quick passing attack would have neutralized the pass rush and taken advantage of their TEs on our LBs. They targeted the TEs heavy but when youre something like 11 catches on 12 targets for Goebert, you need to keep going to that.

The Redskins deserved to win on Sunday and the D was dominant ... but it was a perfect storm that contributed to a win imo. On Moreau's momentum changing int, if the receiver had broken the route off at the sticks vs taking it 5 more steps deep = thats a catch and FD vs an int deep in their zone.

Without some sembelence of a run game to help Haskins, better coverage play from the secondary (S especially) and LBs being able to cover TEs ... its not a readily repeatable outcome.
