I've been saying this too. If the goal was to lose (tank) then Haskins would still be the starter.
It's pretty clear that this team STILL needs a QB. I don't think we'll be in a position to get Lawrence without giving up too much.
I don't know much about the rest of the potential QBs. I trust the scouting, seems like they have had some good drafts of late when the owner isn't involved in the decision. Hopefully they'll find a gem when the pick is in, and they don't reach. Maybe maneuver around the board to get in position to grab the guy they want without mortgaging the future.
Can't wait for the year(s) that we aren't talking about the next year's draft by week 5.
