To be fair the area was that way from day 1 of our country and if people want to be represented they can move less then 5 miles. This isnt the same as th british telling the colonies they could not have representatives in parliament.
But yes i am more than ok with dc getting statehood. Can we move the federal government to st louis or somewhere more centralized too? Please???
