They reaped what they sowed. They took a gamble on Owens. They knew what they were getting and took the risk. And it worked. They are a super team with Owens AND when healthy.
But Owens is Owens. Having gotten to the Eagles after whining about his free agency - when
his agent failed to file the right papers - and when he
refused to report to the Ravens - it should have been no surprise how corrosive TO can be whenever he gets in a pout. The Eagles run a first class organization. I admire how they manage their salary cap, their talent level and game plan. Guess they figured they could handle whatever would come. Who knew?
They got what they deserved, but I do feel sorry for the players, especially, McNabb.
This sympathy does not apply to their obnoxious fans!!!
