Taylor was once a somewhat effective QB when he was in Bills and unfortunately for Taylor Bills didn't do a good job of giving Taylor weapons to play with. He didn't do much on any other teams.. I would prefer to play Smith instead of signing Taylor if it gets to that point.

I'd take him over Fitzpatrick every day. A Smith over a guy like T Taylor? Not a chance.
