I don't know what the heck he was expecting though. I mean it's not like anyone on this planet
really thought he would come back from that terrible injury. That small group of people that apparently thought he could come back and play - well they probably live under the same roof as him.
He expected the new regime to just sit their 1st round pick, and the dude they traded a 5th round pick for, and welcome him with open arms to give him the opportunity to find out if he could even play football still, but it sounds like he didn't even know if he could do it. Well no shit... C'mon, who is he kidding?
It's truly an amazing story, but I think that has to be the last chapter, right? At least in Washington... They don't owe him anything, and if the organization is serious about getting better, he can't be coming back.
Maybe he should call up Urban Meyer and see if he needs a mentor for their new rookie.
