Injuries have taken a beating on the defense plus the loss of Pierce and Smoot has adjusted our depth a bit. I'd say overall though it is clear our offense has gotten better more than our defense has gotten worse. We're better overall plain and simple. Now hopefully we continue to improve and turn this improvement into something that matters like 4 more wins.

I think that we miss Pierce alot more on D than we thought we would. He was the leader of our D and spent long hours in the film room which has hurt our D. I think Williams will realize that it has hurt our D and do a better job to remedy this problem. I was one who thought he would strugle in the Giants system and that Williams would have no problem replacing him but I was wrong.
