It's always confused me why we try to classify homicides. Everything is all about race, sex, etc.. We will never change. It's 2021, and we all still justify, classify, etc. If you kill someone, outside of self defense, it's always fucking wrong. I think without politics, this would be 99% agreed upon.
Like if someone shoots my family member for no reason, I don't give 2 shits about the classification. I will hate that person, until hopefully I can forgive them.
That's why politics suck. We lose things that unite us, such as killing each other is terrible, so we can fight about why we kill each other.

Of course murder is murder. But murdering someone because they are jewish imo is worse than a scorned lover or a break in gone bad because it is even more senseless. Doesn’t make any murder ok. Lol. The conversation is about hate crime though.
If someone shoots your family member for no reason that is obviously awful but that person is going to kill someone regardless. Someone shoots your family member because of their race or religion than that would fall into the pre meditated murder category. They were targeted. It is by definition worse. Certainly doesn’t make the random murder good though. At all. But again we are discussing hate crimes.
