They are not sticking with WFT.
It isn't happening for a thousand reasons, but the simplest few are that it doesn't reflect any of the traits that they keep harping on. It doesn't provide for expanding the base beyond DC. It doesn't move from the realm of generic.
It was a placeholder and they didn't spend massive marketing capital and brand awareness efforts to in the end say "It's WFT".
I could go on about it but I only slept at the holiday Inn express one night.
I would guess that their next Making the Brand video will be in the November/December time frame and it will be all about moving how they chose WFT as a placeholder and how it is time to move into the future with a new identity beyond WFT.
