On the choice of names I like Redtails more than Commanders. Surely the team has to know Commanders is so bland and generic it would never work. Same thing with Admirals.

Interesting, they might fuck around and keep me interested. I can fuck with some cognitive dissonance and cheer on a bird indigenous to the area that I feel a connection to.
That said, I can totally see them going with something super generic to avoid backlash from the woke contingent. I also wouldn't put it past them to not realize how many people would feel apathetic toward how generic it is.
