I still remember watching Super Bowl VII with the family. I was crushed that we lost. I remember Sonny rupturing his Achilles. I remember the I like Sonny/I like Billy bumper stickers.
In 2nd grade, our school day included "Centers" which was kind of crafts mixed with regular learning (it was still the Hippie era). We had a sewing center and all of us guys made Redskins pillows shaped like helmets.
Larry Brown, Roy Jefferson, Jerry Smith, Chris Hanburger. The arrival of Theismann and Riggins. The hiring of Joe Gibbs and so on.
