Yeah, but for now they can still
cut him after next year with no dead cap.
And, while enthusiastic on Wentz, I do understand that he is in a prove it year, and especially with the perception of him, Ron is wise to keep the option of cutting him (while still being able to keep him for 2 more seasons/extend him) rather than locking his destiny to Wentz' right away.
