There's a reason kickers can last like 20 years in the NFL. It's not because they stay awesome, it's because most kickers in college suck and are scared of the moment. Ohio State's kicker missed a 50 yard kick in a dome, by like 20 yards. He missed that kick well before he stepped onto the field.
