I am all for harsher punishments but in the end that merely focuses on the end result. Punishments have never equalled the deterrent that politicians think it does and we need to focus on prevention as well which is far less expensive than clean up. Further more it is funny how we only focus on punishment for certain aspects of illegal weapons. I never hear politicians or gun advocates clamoring for law abiding citizens that are careless with their gun ownership with facing prison sentences. My brother has had three guns (at different times) stolen from his car. He lives in a state that does not require gun owners to report stolen guns. One was used in a crime. He should have jail time IMO.

Chico just needs to have the shooters fit his narrative. If he has to defend hard right nazis he goes to places like he just did. Only white Christian Americans can be nazis. Unbelievable.
