Ron Rivera has a career record of 101 - 95. He is talked about as some master HC, a football genius. Supposedly this world class talent evaluator and team builder. None of any of that has ever been displayed here. Allegedly a high character guy (None of us know him so we can't say with 100% certainty). It seems like to me, save for the one super bowl appearance, which may be enough for some people, he has done jack shit across two franchises.
He is probably going to be fired here, but the big question is, will he get another turn as a HC? You really have to wonder, with him lasting this long in the NFL...

Serious question - do you think he will get another offer?
I'm putting 90% odds that he doesn't. 3 winning seasons in 13 years is terrible.
But all it takes is one owner - that's how guys like Jim Zorn/Urban Meyer get hired despite being terrible. I wouldn't put it past Mark Davis or Mike Bidwill getting enamored with the respectability aspect of it - Ron is a respected man no doubt, just a terrible coach.
